After a couple of days of freezing drizzle and rain, the wind will be a major concern today. Environment Canada has issued a wind warning for much of the province, including the Montreal area.
Today’s forecast: Periods of rain ending in the morning, then a mix of sun and cloud with a few flurries beginning in the afternoon. Wind southwest 30 km/h gusting to 60 increasing to 50 gusting to 80 in the morning. Temperature falling to minus 5 in the afternoon.
Tonight: A few flurries ending in the evening, then partly cloudy. Wind west 60 km/h gusting to 90 diminishing to 40 gusting to 70 late in the evening. Low minus 13. Wind chill minus 16 in the evening and minus 25 overnight.
