Sergeant Alice Cockram said Louise Allison Langhorn told police she was assaulted on Wednesday, 6th February, on Balga Avenue near Redcliffe Avenue.

She did not immediately report the assault, but told police about it at a later stage and was admitted to Royal Perth Hospital on Friday, two days after suffering injuries in the fight.

A passer-by in a dark car is believed to have come to her aid and scared off the men before he drove her home to her unit in Balga, Sergeant Cockram said.

Homicide Detectives wish to speak to anyone who witnessed the assault, the passer-by in a dark car or anyone with any information to call Crime Stopper on 1800 333 000 or to make a report online.
