«She’s going good. That win at Tumut was pretty dominant, it was a non-TAB, but that doesn’t matter really,» Clarke said.
«I think she’s a good chance [on Monday]. She drew not a bad barrier.
«When she came in I had a few problems with her. She wouldn’t eat, as soon as I drove a bit of work into her she went off her tucker.
«I changed a few things with her now and she’s eating all the time. She’s a different horse this time in.»
Clarke said if she can sneak a win on Monday then he’ll give her a brief stint in the paddock before looking for greener pastures.
He might take her to Canberra for a race or even head to Sydney for a Highway Handicap.
«After tomorrow’s going to tell me a lot more because I’ve got her right and everything’s going good,» Clarke said.
«If she can win tomorrow I’ll just put her in the paddock for a week, just give her a freshen up, and then I’ll look for a race like, maybe Canberra or might even see if we can go and get a Highway.»
