A man has been airlifted off a south-east Queensland mountain, in the second winch for the RACQ LifeFlight Rescue’s helicopters this weekend.
In the latest incident, the Sunshine Coast-based rescue chopper was called to Table Top Mountain, near Toowoomba, on Sunday afternoon after reports a man had fallen about 10 metres while hiking with friends.

The rescue helicopter was initially able to land on top of the mountain.
The aeromedical crew then walked about 100 metres down a track to assess the patient, a man aged in his 20s.
