Chanel Chance Eau Tendre Eau de Parfum. CHANEL Beauty

What it is: A new fragrance release from CHANEL Beauty, which sees the French brand reimagine its popular Chance scent.

The latest iteration, which was created under the direction of CHANEL fragrance creator Olivier Polge, takes the initial fruity-floral scent and intensifies it to provide the wearer with a, “whirlwind of tenderness.”

The eau de parfum features top notes of grapefruit over a “radiant” heart of jasmine absolute and rose essence and a base of white musk.

What we say: This new scent is fun and flirty without being too young. Our tester enjoyed the sweet, citrusy notes first noticed post-spritz. But it was the more “romantic” notes at its heart that had her eager to spray this fragrance on again.

The pink elixir, which is housed within the rounded crystal bottle shape that is consistent with the other CHANEL Chance scents, proved to be a pretty, playful scent that’s sure to be a perfect perfume for the warmer months ahead.

While it may not make the same, indelible impression on certain scent fans like many of the CHANEL scents (such as No. 5, No. 19 and the latest, Gabrielle) before it, the latest release is sure to find fast fans among CHANEL fragrance fanatics and casual wearers, alike.

Where to get it: Hudson’s Bay;

What it will cost you: $119 for 50 mL
